After graduating from Emlyon Business School with a specialisation in finance and strategy, Gaspard Devissaguet joined Bpifrance. One year ago, he became part of Demeter as an analyst in the venture capital teams.

In the course of 15 years, Demeter has partnered with more than 160 companies. “Currently, we support over 80 companies with the aim of making each of them either a reference actor or a key player on its market,” says Mr. Devissaguet.

In 2014, Demeter invested in Ynsect. Quickly, Ynsect turned into the leader in natural insect protein. A testament to that is the whopping €316 million investment the company recently raised to build its first vertical farm. The facility will reach a production volume of 100,000T.
