Ms. Eva Pando Iglesias
Eva studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Oviedo, and has an MBA from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She worked in the venture capital market for 8 years, and currently she works as general manager in a Business Innovation Centre dedicated to develop New based Technology companies in the Principality of Asturias (Spain). During the time she worked in venture capital company, she carried out two different work tasks: Firstly as investing director, and after that, as investing department Coordinator. She has been member of 13 boards of directors from participated companies until Today. She also participated in the setting up of ASBAN (Asturias Business Angels Network), where she is board member. She is also Vice-President of ANCES (Spanish network of Business Innovation Centre). Additionally she collaborates in several masters from University of Oviedo, and FENA (Asturias Business School) as teacher of Venture Capital and Investing Decisions tasks.Sectors of Personal Expertise:

The European Business and Innovation Centre of Asturias - CEEI Asturias - was created to encourage the creation and consolidation of innovative business in Asturias.
The European Business and Innovation Centre of Asturias – CEEI Asturias - was created according to the Business Innovation Centre (BIC) model from the European Commission to encourage the creation and consolidation of innovative business in Asturias. It was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organisation, promoted by the Regional Development Agency (IDEPA) and other important regional economic entities, with the following aims to: • encourage entrepreneurial and innovative business culture • support new business start-ups, particularly those of an innovative and technological nature • support existing companies in developing innovation and growth • research and develop new business activities that would create employment and innovation New entrepreneurs assisted in 2014: 372 – since start of the BIC: 6,165.
